MEGAMARE ORTO PARISI 50ml

Megamare by Orto Parisi is widely considered one of the most powerful and polarizing "marine" fragrances ever created. Released in 2019 by master perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri (the "nose" behind Nasomatto and scents like Black Afgano), it is less of a "day at the beach" and more of a "storm in the middle of the ocean.

The Notes: Gualtieri famously does not release official notes for his fragrances, but enthusiasts and GC/MS (chemical) analysis suggest

Top: Bergamot and lemon (though very fleeting).  

Heart: Calone (an aquatic molecule), Hedione, and Seaweed.  

Base: Ambroxan, Cedar, and a heavy, "nuclear" dose of Musk. 

Megamare is legendary in the fragrance community for its extreme performance.

Longevity: It easily lasts 12–24 hours on skin and can stay on clothes for weeks, even after washing.  

Sillage/Projection: This is a "room-filler." One or two sprays are usually more than enough. In the community, it’s often joked that wearing more than three sprays in a closed space is "chemical warfare."
